These Terms govern your use of the Village of Moms website at villageofmoms.com and the SMS messaging service (together, "the Service"), operated by Village of Moms ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Village of Moms Is

Village of Moms is a free matching service that connects new mothers into small groups of four based on shared interests, baby stage, and availability. Once matched, groups communicate via SMS group chat facilitated by an AI assistant named Vi.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Village of Moms. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

SMS Messaging Terms

• Program name: Village of Moms
• What you'll receive: Group SMS messages from your matched village, conversation prompts from Vi (our AI assistant), and occasional private check-in messages
• Message frequency: Varies. Expect 2–5 messages per day from Vi, plus messages from your group members
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier
• To opt out: Text STOP at any time to stop all messages
• To get help: Text HELP or email hello@villageofmoms.com

Community Guidelines

Village of Moms is a space for mutual support. By participating, you agree to:

• Treat other members with respect and kindness
• Keep group conversations confidential
• Not share other members' personal information outside the group
• Not use the Service for solicitation, harassment, or harmful conduct

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these guidelines.

The AI Assistant (Vi)

Vi is an AI-powered facilitator, not a licensed therapist or counselor. Vi's prompts and responses are meant to spark conversation, not provide professional advice. If you're experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and software — is the property of Village of Moms and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Site

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to create compatible groups, but we cannot guarantee any particular outcome from your matches. We are not responsible for the actions or statements of other group members.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Village of Moms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know via email or SMS. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
